2024 KSU International Students Festival

On October 30th, Kyungsung University proudly hosted its very first festival exclusively for our international students, and what a remarkable day it was!

From morning to evening, our campus buzzed with laughter, joy, and the spirit of community as students from all corners of the globe came together to celebrate.

The day kicked off with a colorful flea market, where students explored unique goods and souvenirs from different cultures. Many took part in the hanbok experience, trying on beautiful traditional Korean attire, while others enjoyed mini-games that kept the energy high and the smiles wide. As the festival unfolded, friendly competitions in OX quizzes, tug-of-war, and thrilling obstacle races drew enthusiastic crowds, with countless students cheering each other on and celebrating the prizes won along the way.

As night fell, the festival reached its peak with our highly anticipated stage event—a song contest and dance contest. Students dazzled us with performances of traditional dances and songs from their home countries, creating a powerful display of cultural pride and artistry. One of the night’s biggest highlights was the surprise appearance by 'Sgeonpa,' a dance team made up of talented students from our university. Their electrifying performance left the crowd energized and deeply moved, adding that perfect spark to our special night.

It was a day of firsts, a festival of friendship, and a heartwarming reminder that no matter where we come from, we can all connect through shared experiences and celebration. Here’s to building a vibrant, inclusive community at Kyungsung University!
