On Wednesday, September 10, Head Office of Global College at Kyungsung University supported a candlelight prayer held in memory of Nepalese students who tragically lost their lives during recent protests in Nepal.

This memorial event was voluntarily organized by Nepalese students currently studying at Kyungsung University. Head Office of Global College provided the venue and support, ensuring that the meaningful gathering could proceed smoothly.

Despite the short preparation time, many Nepalese students and members of the Nepalese community in Busan came together to share a heartfelt moment of solidarity and remembrance.

Head Office of Global College plans to continue creating spaces where international students can support one another and freely express their voices.

Below is a message from Ramesh Thapa, the representative of International Students Union:

"We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Hak-Seon Kim, Dean of the Global College at Kyungsung University, for kindly providing the venue on such short notice and taking time from his busy schedule to attend the event and show support to the international students. We are always deeply thankful for your continued encouragement.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the Nepalese community in Busan for organizing and supporting meaningful events like this. Thank you for always standing by Nepalese students.

Lastly, we are grateful to everyone who joined us and showed their solidarity during this difficult time.
Together, we remember, we pray, and we hope for peace and a brighter future for Nepal"
