Kyungsung University’s Graduate School of Global Business (President Lee Jong-Geun) participated in the 3rd GLOSITH (Global Congress of Special Interest Tourism & Hospitality), held at Macau University of Science and Technology from Friday, April 10th to Sunday, April 12th.

This international conference featured presentations from over 200 research teams from various countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Canada, Australia, and the Philippines, highlighting a range of global topics.

Kyungsung University's research team, consisting of Dat Hung Ho (PhD student), Aura Lydia Riswanto (Master’s student), Professor Jue Wang, and Professor Kim Hak-Sun, won the Best Paper Award for their presentation titled "A Comparative Analysis of Visitor Satisfaction and Expectations of Cave Tourism in Vietnam: Insights from Big Data and Focus Group." This study analyzed the expectations of cave tour visitors in Vietnam through focus group interviews and examined visitor satisfaction using online reviews. The research provided foundational data for marketing strategies by analyzing how destination selection attributes impact customer satisfaction and was recognized as an empirical case demonstrating customer preferences for the sustainable growth of the tourism industry.

Additionally, Kim Se-Eun (Master’s student) and Angellie Williady (Master’s student) presented on the topic “Designing World Expo 2030, Busan. Satisfaction evaluation of BEXCO through Big Data analysis.”
