1. What is the Double Major / Minor Program?

- The Double Major / Minor system allows students to study an additional academic field beyond their primary major.

  ① Double Major: Students must complete at least 36 credits in each major to receive two degrees upon graduation.

  ② Minor: Students complete at least 21 credits in a secondary field of interest and receive certification of minor completion.

- Benefits:

  ① Strengthens self-directed learning capabilities(Double Major/Minor indicated on the diploma.)

  ② Expands academic competencies and diversifies career paths

  ③ (For Korean Studies) Enables learning of the Korean language and culture

2. Application Schedule for Fall 2025 (New Applications, Changes, Cancellations)

① Eligibility: Students who have completed 2 to 7 semesters by Spring 2025 (★ Students scheduled to graduate in August 2025 are not eligible.)

② Application Period: Monday, July 14 – Wednesday, July 16, 2025, by 2 PM

③ How to Apply - Choose one of the following submission methods:

    a. Visit the office at Building 30, Room 201-3 (Office hours: 09:00–14:00)

    b. Submit by email to: muskim8@ks.ac.kr

3. Additional Notes

① Students applying for a Double Major or Minor in majors for other Colleges(e.g, College of Humanities and Social Scicence) must submit one of the following valid language proficiency result.

    - Minimum Korean requirements: TOPIK 3 and more Level, or KIIP 3 and more Level

② The following majors under the School of Global Engineering only accept applicants who enrolled as new students from Spring 2024 onward:

③ Courses taken in advance for your desired second major/minor can be retroactively recognized once your application is approved.
