Wellness Tourism Big Data Research Team Wins Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award

 Kyungsung University (President Lee Jong-Geun)’s Wellness Tourism Big Data Research Team won the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award at the 90th Regular Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Culinary Society, held at Yeungnam University on Saturday, last month, 25th.

 Participating in the oral presentation section with the theme 'Analyzing Determinant Attributes of Customer Satisfaction of OTA Apps (Online Travel Agency Applications) through User-Generated Digital Review Analytics,' the Wellness Tourism Big Data Research Team garnered recognition for their outstanding research achievements. The study involved collecting and analyzing travel app reviews to investigate customer experiences and satisfaction, providing insights and improvement points that can enhance customer satisfaction for travel app managers and developers.

 Additionally, the Wellness Tourism Big Data Research Team, composed of doctoral students Yahaira Lisbeth Moreno Brito (Ecuador), Yinai Zhong (China), Aura Lydia Riswanto (Indonesia), Angellie Williady (Indonesia), Ho Hung Dat (Vietnam), Kim Sei-Eun (South Korea), along with Professor Jue Wang (China) and Professor Hyun-Jung Ban (South Korea), achieved excellence in various other categories alongside the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award. They are currently engaged in more active international projects with the establishment of the Global College specialized for international students in March 2024, and have been consistently achieving notable results at various international academic conferences recently.

 Hak-Seon Kim, Director of the Wellness Tourism Big Data Research Institute, stated, "This award holds significant meaning as it signifies tangible and specific research outcomes aimed at improving customer satisfaction. We anticipate making important contributions to the advancement of the travel app and hotel industries moving forward."
